The BW Education Research team conducted the survey to rank top B-schools in the country. B-schools were evaluated against 10 broad parameters, and 50 sub-parameters. The rankings were based on objective data sourced from B-schools directly or from secondary sources, and a perceptual survey conducted among industry and faculty. The findings were processed by the BW research team and run past the BW editorial team.

Invitations were sent to 700 schools to participate in the survey, of which 150 participated. The programmes lacking legal validity weren’t considered for the ranking.

The perceptual survey was carried out with some 1,500 industry leaders and B-school faculty members who were asked to rate the B-schools they were familiar with on a ten-point scale. The rating to their institutes was not considered.
