How Bizgurukul Is Paving Its Way To Transform The Face Of Online Education In India

When the Covid-19 lockdown started, social media was full of people sharing their 'knowledge,' clearly implying that they were studying for schools and colleges and interested in learning something new and skill-oriented, which eventually makes them money well. After a decade of digital transformation, this pandemic has increased the speed of E-Learning platforms manifold. This is where three young minds saw the opportunity to create a unique EdTech platform, "Bizgurukul," to impart new-age skills to the youth of our country from their respective homes. If there was a new culture of work from home, why not 'learn from home,' says Ritwiz Tiwari, the founder of Bizgurukul. The focus was on providing top-quality knowledge and skills via online courses and live training sessions designed to suit the sensibilities of the Youth of the Bharat. In a short span of time, the platform became a runway of achievements, with over 50000 students across every city in the country subscribing to various courses in less than one year.

What makes them unique...?

Bizgurukul; like many other ventures; have made tier 2 and tier 3 cities of Bharat as its launchpad on the back of enlarged digital penetration in the market, hungry audience who are ready for breakthroughs to come, and hidden talent; following our Prime Minister's clarion call for being 'Atma-Nirbhar Bharat.'

However, even in this highly competitive market, the key differentiators of the platform which catapulted the rapid growth of the forum are - Personal Mentorship Programme with leading Industry mentors, Unique curriculum that focuses on imparting professional skills and life skills through practical training in the courses which allow students to monetize their skill set very well.

Bizgurukul differentiated its offering to students and created a unique distribution strategy via an affiliate program. They have roped in homemakers, students, working professionals, want to be digital marketers as their affiliates and empowered them with live pieces of training and skill-based courses, which are the need of the hour. The Year of Adventure

Bizgurukul was founded by Ritwiz Tiwari and co-founded by Rohit Sharma and Keshave Lal. Ritwiz has been active in the direct selling market and Start-Up ecosystem for a long time and also had a taste of affiliate marketing. He worked with few International brands in the same sector before realizing this could be an excellent opportunity for the Indian market if an Indian brand comes up. That's where the idea of Bizgurukul arrived. Rohit Sharma, who has around a decade-long experience in entrepreneurship and Direct Selling and Keshave Lal, has been a communication trainer and business coach for over ten years for brands like Naukri.com and Infinity Advertisement. The collaboration of these three young minds gave birth to this adventurous journey of giving India a fantastic amalgamation of EdTech and affiliate marketing.

Team Bizgurukul completed its first year successfully on March 24. "We feel so happy, proud, and grateful for efficaciously completing one year of transforming lives digitally. This has been a long journey, and we worked hard on making this mission successful. Every person in our team has worked day and night tirelessly, facing every challenge with sheer determination and a will to serve our users. With every new challenge we grew and so our zeal to provide a new ray of hope to the youth of our country," Rohit says. He added, "Starting with the niche in Online Entrepreneurship and Affiliate Marketing, we designed our products in such a way that they cater to our market's need of skill-based courses, whether it is our video superstar course or Instagram mastermind. It gives us immense pleasure to share that making these skills reach almost every city (especially small town) in India; we hit a mark of Million dollars in revenue in our first 12 months, where a major chunk of it was shared with our partners as part of our affiliate campaign."

The Path Ahead

While the EdTech market is heating up with many players, we are focused on our forte of Online Entrepreneurship and Affiliate Marketing. The number of people venturing into this field has been rising like never before, so our target market and its potential.

Many new courses are ready in a queue with the advanced level of training and instructors; this will keep us ahead and add value to our audience.

The bootstrapped Start-up is working on its growth trajectory and plans to quadruple its student base to over 1 lakh by the end of 2021 with existing courses and upcoming courses to their library.
