Google Releases New Updates For Its Password Manager

With the latest update the password manager will have a simplified and unified management experience across Chrome and Android settings

Google is rolling out fresh updates for its Google Password Manager in an effort to make it user information even more secure across Chrome, Android and iOS apps.

Google Password Manager has received some fresh updates as Google looks to make it more secure than before. With the latest update the password manager will have a simplified and unified management experience across Chrome and Android settings. The password manager will now be able to group a user’s passwords even if they have multiple passwords for the same sites or apps. Users can even create a shortcut on their Android home screen to access passwords in a single tap.

With the fresh update, Google Password Manager help users create passwords across platforms. Also, users can now generate passwords for iOS apps to if they set Chrome as their autofill provider. 

The password manager will now also flag weak and re-used passwords on Android. Google has also decided to let users add their passwords to an app directly.

Additionally, Google is bringing its Touch-to-Fill feature to Chrome on Android to make logging in faster. 

These features are going to be rolled out over the next few months.
