Gold Futures Ease On Low Demand

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold prices for April delivery slipped by Rs 139, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 44,544 per 10 gram in a business turnover of 12,303 lots.

Gold futures on Monday fell 0.31 per cent to Rs 44,544 per 10 gram as participants offloaded their holdings on a low spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold prices for April delivery slipped by Rs 139, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 44,544 per 10 gram in a business turnover of 12,303 lots.

In the international market, gold was trading 0.09 per cent lower at USD 1,697.00 per ounce in New York.
