GE Power India’s Consolidated Loss Narrows To Rs 129.70 Cr In Q4

The company’s total income declined to Rs 1,884.03 crore in the current year from Rs 2,758.67 crore in 2021-2022

State-owned construction engineering GE Power India (GEPIL) on Friday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 129.70 crore in the fourth quarter that ended in March 2023.

According to a BSE filing, the company witnessed a consolidated net loss of Rs 179.10 crore in the year-ago period as well. 

GE Power’s total income in the March 2023 quarter was Rs 359.43 crore against Rs 618.86 crore a year ago. Subsequently, its total income declined to Rs 1,884.03 crore in the current year from Rs 2,758.67 crore in 2021-2022.

GEPIL’s March quarter ended with an order backlog of Rs 3,615.3 crore.

Commenting on the quarter results Prashant Jain, Managing Director of GE Power India said we are continuously working on the turnaround progress of GE Power, but the FGD market slowdown is causing the delay.

GE Power India is one of the prominent companies manufacturing Indian power generation types of equipment.
