Apart from Dholera SIR-specific programmes, the smart city will benefit from pan-India policies like Startup India, Atma Nirbhar Bharat, and Make in India
Gujrat-based GAP Associates on Monday announced that he has received the first RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) license for constructing an industrial park inside the 72-kilometer road perimeter established by L&T in the Dholera SIR's Activation Zone.
"With another first within Dholera-SIR, GAP Group has always been the pioneer inside of the SIR and its activation zone," says Ambrish Parajiya, Director, GAP Associates.
Dholera SIR boasts four-way connectivity, a system powered entirely by renewable energy, and an urban layout equivalent to Dubai and Singapore. Dholera is on track to become India's first greenfield smart city, and we're committed to promoting large-scale eco-friendly industrial and residential development.
"The government is spending considerably on constructing Dholera SIR as a model greenfield smart city that will not need any improvements for the next 50 years," says Gopal Goswami, Director of GAP Associates. This is a big problem for real estate developers because many industrial sectors, like defense, aerospace, and electronics, will be built with the ability to treat solid and liquid waste and filter water.
Piyush Goyal, the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, recently assessed NIDC's (National Industrial Development Corporation of India's) development. He asked the government to speed up the development process by providing Dholera SIR and other projects a substantial boost.
Apart from Dholera SIR-specific programmes, the smart city will benefit from pan-India policies like Startup India, Atma Nirbhar Bharat, and Make in India.
"This would provide the necessary impetus for SMEs to begin manufacturing operations inside the SIR right now." The government is now awarding land tracts to anchor enterprises. MSMEs would be enticed to Dholera-SIR by the creation of an industrial park. " Gopal Goswami continues.
Dholera-SIR is 72 kilometers south-west of Ahmedabad and is now nearing completion.
