Excellence In Security Knowledge

Both terms 'knowledge' and 'security' are open to interpretation and hence this complicates the discussion. There are insights into excellence in almost all angles of business, for instance, from leadership issues to processes, to maximising value in operations, human resources, marketing, and finance and they all have an application to some aspect of security.
 
"The understanding about security cannot work in silos - in compartmentalisation kind of a framework. The inter linkages, the understanding about one another will strengthen the entire security framework," said Dr Akshat Mehta, University Dean & Associate Professor - Police Administration, Rashtriya Raksha University.
 
 "Greater amount of understanding between not only public and private security but also between several think tanks and institutions who are trying to contribute to strengthening this entire security framework assumes huge significance," he added.
 
Mehta thanked all the private security professionals for being there in tough times and standing tall as Covid warriors of this nation.
 
"During Covid times, the warriors who emerged in front of each one of us were private security professionals. Every family, every nook and corner of the country witnessed the bravery with which they stood out and provided all needed services," he stated.
 
Mehta was speaking at Security Leadership Summit 2022 - the 17th annual conference of CAPSI organised in association with BW Security World.
