Twitter CEO, Elon Musk on Friday denied the allegations made by his employee, claiming that it is baseless and hinting at dragging the employee to court. According to the allegations, the employee is said to have artificially boosted Elon’s tweets.

The matter first came to light earlier this week, when much of the Twitter 'For You' feed for the majority of people was filled with Musk's tweets, retweets and replies.

Some reports claimed that Twitter has a secret team dedicated to promoting Musk's tweets, allowing them to gain more visibility and engagement on the platform than they would have otherwise.

Musk however addressed the allegations in a series of tweets, stating several major media sources incorrectly reported his tweets to be boosted above normal levels. "A review of my tweet likes and views over the past 6 months, especially considering the ratio of followers, states that these claims are false," he added.

He further notified a bug that briefly caused the replies to have the same prominence as primary tweets, and said the same is fixed. The billionaire clarified that the algorithm issue was caused by a disgruntled employee and that legal action will be taken.

However, it’s not the first time that Musk has been embroiled in controversy over his Twitter use.
