EaseMyTrip Makes Its Highest-ever GBR Profit Of 26% In FY23

In FY23, EaseMyTrip recorded its highest-ever Gross Booking Revenue of Rs 8,050.6 crore, representing a substantial increase of 116.7 per cent year on year

EaseMyTrip, an online travel company, reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 134.1 crore in FY23, up 26.6 per cent from the previous year. PAT for Q4FY23 was Rs 31.1 crore as opposed to Rs 23.3 crore, a 33.1 per cent increase year on year. 

In FY23, EaseMyTrip recorded its highest-ever Gross Booking Revenue of Rs 8,050.6 crore, representing a substantial increase of 116.7 per cent year on year. The company also recorded a 68.6 per cent increase in Adjusted Revenue from Rs 400.4 crore in FY22 to Rs 674.9 crore in FY23.

The operational performance of EaseMyTrip has also increased significantly across all categories. Air passenger numbers (net of cancellations) increased by 62.2 per cent year on year, hitting 115.0 lakhs in FY23, up from 70.9 lakhs in FY22. 

The Hotels segment increased by 121.4 per cent year on year, with volumes rising to 3.5 lakhs in FY23 from 1.6 lakhs in FY22. Furthermore, bookings in the Trains, Buses and Others segment increased 10.4 per cent year on year, from 5.6 lakhs in FY22 to 6.2 lakhs in FY23.

EaseMyTrip's Dubai operation has been a standout performer, regularly generating outstanding results. Despite a typically lousy quarter, the Dubai business earned Rs 43.3 crore in Gross Booking Revenue in Q4FY23. Since its inception in April 2022, the Dubai business's cumulative Gross Booking Revenue has reached the Rs 100 crore mark.
