Devender Sharma, the personal assistant (PA) of Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, is expected to enter the Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation into the Delhi excise policy scam case on Saturday.

Sharma is expected to arrive at the investigation agency's headquarters by 11 a.m.

There is a chance that Sharma will be challenged by Sisodia. The ED called him on Friday.

The ED has already obtained an additional five days of detention for Sisodia in the case. The ED had previously informed the court that former Secretary C. Arvind, Excise Secretary Arava Gopi Krishna, and Sanjay Goyal were confronted together during interrogation.

While requesting additional custodial remand for Sisodia, the ED stated that C Arvind needed to be confronted again. In addition to him, the ED wishes to question witness Dinesh Arora and accused Amit Arora.

The ED stated that they had retrieved massive amounts of cloud data that they were investigating. Aside from that, the agency needed information on all of the accused's missing mobile phones.

In the matter, the ED has so far submitted two charge sheets: a charge sheet and a supplementary charge sheet. They're all planning to submit a second supplementary charge sheet in the case.
