Dish TV CEO Anil Dua Quits

Dish TV India on Tuesday notified that its chief executive officer (CEO) Anil Dua has stepped down from his position after a six-year-long stint with the direct-to-home (DTH) company. 

Dua will be serving his three-month notice period, with his final working day set for 22 August 2023.

The satellite TV operator said, CEO’s position will be replaced by the company’s chief operating officer Manoj Dobhal after receiving clearance from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB).

Dhobal has a working experience of over 24 years in various operational and strategic roles at the pan-India level.

The company’s regulatory filing read, "After a successful six-year stint, Anil Dua, CEO, Dish TV India, today put forward his request to move on to the Board of Directors of the Company”. 

Dua in his leadership was successful in steering the company through complex Videocon D2H merger and the post-merger processes.
