Dell Bags CIO Choice 2013 Award

Dell India has been awarded the CIO CHOICE 2013 award for its solutions in server, storage – hardware, data centre consultant and Data Centre Transformation Services categories.

The CIO Choice Awards is a B2B platform positioned to recognise and honour products, services and solutions on the back of stated preferences of CIOs and ICT decision makers. The award demonstrates Dell’s “best-in-class” ability and commitment to meeting CIOs evolving needs in today’s dynamic business environment.

The process for the “CIO CHOICE award” is conducted via an independent advisory panel of eminent CIOs and an independent survey voting from across the country with CIOs and ICT decision makers.

Agilent Tech Introduces Mixed Signal Oscilloscope
Agilent Technologies (NYSE: A) announced the expansion of its Infiniium 90000 X-Series oscilloscope family to include the mixed-signal oscilloscope, or MSO. The expansion adds six new MSO models, as well as 13-GHz DSO and DSA models, to the X-Series.

Engineers and developers use MSOs to accelerate testing by employing the additional trigger flexibility for debugging and validating their devices.

The tightly integrated digital channels of the new MSO models can function at 20 GSa/s in an eight-channel configuration, 60 per cent faster than other high-performance MSOs, or at 10 GSa/s in a 16-channel configuration.

Agilent now offers MSOs ranging from 70 MHz to 33 GHz of analog bandwidth.

NEC India, Vaultize In Strategic Partnership
NEC India, a leading IT solutions provider has entered into a strategic alliance with Vaultize – an enterprise cloud backup and sharing solution provider, to jointly go to market with Vaultize’s enterprise cloud backup, sharing and mobility platform through NEC’s cloud aggregator platform. This will enable both companies to further penetrate the market and offer a bouquet of services to enterprises.

Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Launches ‘Eezee Tab’
Bajaj Allianz General Insurance has launched an application named ‘Eezee Tab’ on the Android based platform to instantly issue or renew Motor Insurance policies as well as register claims. This app comes with a device which can accept payments by credit/debit card. This will eliminate the risk of cheque loss during transit and the delays due to technical problems associated with correction in cheque payments.
