Covid-19 Vaccination Coverage Crosses 186.36 Cr Amid Risk Of Third Wave

India reported 949 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday said that India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 186.36 Crore (1,86,36,94,334). 

More than 5,79,138 vaccine doses have been administered and over 2.39 crore (2,39,82,437) vaccine doses have been administered to the 12-14 years age group so far, it said. 

The ministry said that more than 2.51 crore (2,51,02,641) precaution doses for the identified categories of beneficiaries (HCWs, FLWs and Over 60 years) for COVID vaccination have been administered so far. 

India reported 949 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the ministry. 

Meanwhile, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Friday said that all hospitals in the national capital have been advised to remain alert in view of the rise in coronavirus cases in the city.
