Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra To Enter Delhi Tomorrow

So far, the ongoing foot march has covered Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The Yatra commenced on 7 September from Kanyakumari

The Congress MP Rahul Gandhi led-Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Faridabad in the first phase of its last leg in Haryana and will reach New Delhi on Saturday. 

The Yatra was resumed on Friday from Kherli Lala in Sohna and several senior party members were present along with Gandhi when it entered Nuh in Harayana from Rajasthan.

So far, the ongoing foot march has covered Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. 

The foot march commenced on 7 September from Kanyakumari. 

The route of the Yatra has not been confirmed yet. Although, the Congress party has decided to begin from Badarpur to Red Fort via Mathura Road, Ashram Chowk, Nizamuddin, Zakir Hussain Marg, India Gate, Tilak Marg, ITO and Delhi Gate.

As per the police officials, it will not be allowed to pass through the ITO, Supreme Court and High Court as section 144 is imposed here. Also, this will affect the traffic in the capital. 

The official added that the Yatra will be provided with a route from Mathura Road, Ashram Chowk to Ring Road to reach Red Fort. The traffic in Delhi is likely to be less affected from here.

Meanwhile, amid the rising concerns about Covid-19 infection, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has urged Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to consider suspending the ongoing foot march or follow the Covid protocols.
