Centre To Approach Capital Markets To Raise Money For Building Roads

He also stated that road building under the Build Operate Transfer (BOT) model will be opened again

Union Minister for Road, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday while speaking at an industry forum said that the centre will be approaching capital markets next month to raise money for road building.

“There will be an investment limit of Rs 10 lakh for retail investors with an assured return of 7-8 per cent. This money will be raised through InvIT,” Gadkari said.

He also stated that road building under the Build Operate Transfer (BOT) model will be opened again.
