Capgemini Bolsters Silicon Expertise With Acquisition Of HDL Design House

Capgemini said it is acquiring HDL Design House, a significant player in the silicon design and verification services sector in Europe. This acquisition, finalised on 27 September, is expected to enhance Capgemini's silicon engineering capabilities.

HDL Design House, headquartered in Belgrade, Serbia, and established in 2001, brings a great deal of experience to the table with a workforce of approximately 300 highly skilled engineers. These experts have a track record of delivering cutting-edge custom chip designs across various industries. 

HDL Design House's client base is complementary to Capgemini's, including major semiconductor industry players and leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) focused on harnessing the full potential of advanced chips to create intelligent and connected products.
