CNG Prices Hiked Again, Increased By Rs 2.50 Per Kg

Within just five days CNG prices have increased by Rs 6.60 per kg. Earlier on April 4 also, the price of CNG in Delhi had increased by Rs 2.50 per kg

The price of CNG is increasing every few days. In this sequence, the price of CNG in Delhi has increased by Rs 2.5 on Wednesday.

In the capital Delhi, CNG prices have increased for the second time within three days. In Delhi, now CNG has become costlier by Rs 2.5 per kg to Rs 66.61. Once again, there has been a strong impact of inflation on the drivers. Companies say that to compensate for the increased prices in the global market, they also have to increase the prices.

Within just five days CNG prices have increased by Rs 6.60 per kg. Earlier on April 4 also, the price of CNG in Delhi had increased by Rs 2.50 per kg.

The price of CNG has also increased in Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida and Gurugram. CNG is getting costlier by Rs 2.50 per kg from this morning. In these cities also the rate of CNG has reached Rs 69.18 per kg. The price of CNG in Gurugram has touched the sky-high at Rs 74.94 per kg. The most expensive CNG is being sold in cities like Kanpur, Hamirpur, Fatehpur. The price here is Rs 78.40 per kg. After this, CNG is available in Rewari at a price of Rs 77.07.

The government had increased the price of CNG by more than double last week under pressure to increase the prices of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the global market. And this is the reason why the prices of CNG, PNG and LPG cylinders are running fast. On Thursday, the price of LNG increased from USD 2.9 to USD 6.10 per British thermal unit. Since then, the price of CNG has increased thrice.
