Brand Campaigns Paying Tribute To Mothers on Mother’s Day

Celebrated on the second sunday of May every year, brands presenting heart melting campaigns to pay homage to all the mothers

The day to celebrate mothers and motherhood, for everything that she has done is almost here! Mothers deserve all the recognition and admiration for their tireless efforts in nurturing and uplifting their families. Here are a few brands paying tribute to all the mothers across the world for their unwavering love and its expression. The heart melting campaigns launched by multiple brands are making one take a closer look on their mothers. 

Tata Tea Gold Care 

Tata Tea Gold Care, is celebrating Mother’s Day through its new campaign #MyTurnToCare. The campaign focuses upon expressing love for mothers epitomising care by gifting her a personalised pack that captures your special moment with your mother. These first-of-a-kind limited edition pack aims to celebrate the genuine and natural caring bond between a mother and her child while also reinforcing the brand’s ‘care’ proposition.

Speaking about the campaign and its objective, Puneet Das, President - Packaged Beverages (India and South Asia), Tata Consumer Products said, “Tata Tea Gold Care’s campaign celebrates the special mother-child caring bond and highlights the power and stories of these bonds through these photo-personalised tea packs. Each pack is a special tribute and pays homage to the unwavering strength of these mothers whose care is genuine and natural for their child(ren). At Tata Tea Gold Care, we recognize the importance of engaging with consumers through such disruptive and personalized experiences. Integrating unique variable printing technology is a major undertaking for our brand which prides itself on innovation. We are very excited to collaborate with Trigon Digipack Private Limited and Tree Designs for our Mother’s Day campaign in helping bring alive consumer’s special moments with their mothers. Product packaging is the first and most impactful interaction that consumers have, and we are proud to be at the forefront of innovating this at such a large scale. Celebrating the genuine and natural ‘care’ that mothers have for their child(ren) is at the core of our Mother’s Day campaign and the same is being celebrated across various consumer touchpoints – be it our creatives across Print, Digital, Social-Media, Outdoor or On-ground activations”.

Amplifying the campaign, the brand has collaborated with famous social media influencers including film and TV celebrities like Kajal Aggarwal, Sameera Reddy, Anushka Sen, Jannat Zubair and Saloni Gaur to spread the word about the initiative among their friends and followers.

LG Electronics

LG Electronics, in its latest Mother's Day campaign, #MaaMakesItBetter, celebrates mothers enriching our lives in countless ways. This campaign aims to celebrate the boundless love, care, and support that mothers provide, making every day brighter and better. 

The heart-warming video is an ode to all mothers and beautifully captures the essence of a mother's love and the profound impact they have on our lives. As the video unfolds, it showcases various moments and milestones in a mother's journey, from the joyous anticipation of pregnancy to the tender moments of nurturing and caring for a child. Each scene is carefully crafted to portray the deep connection between a mother and her child, highlighting the unwavering support, sacrifices, and unconditional love that she provides. The video showcases LG products enhancing a mother's ability to create a nurturing and harmonious home environment.

Air India

Air India released a short film to celebrate Mother’s Day with a unique artistic tribute to mothers around the globe. The innovative self-shot film beautifully and authentically captures the strong emotional bond shared between a mother and her child. Every journey calls out for mother’s care and affection.

The subtle message of care and concern comes alive in some of the most endearing gestures, such as the “things that moms do” to pray for her child as he or she steps out on a long journey. Vignettes of cross-cultural customs, passed down for generations, are brilliantly portrayed as mothers wish their child with lucky charms, warm hugs, and messages of love, through mother-child rituals and caring calls. All these heart-touching frames are woven together to form an engaging large mosaic of the “small things mothers do that make the big journeys possible”.

Speaking on the film, Sunil Suresh, Head of Marketing and Communications – Air India said, “We believe loved ones give meaning to any journey and moms play an irreplaceable role in everyone’s life. We had reached out to some wonderful people around the world and requested them to capture the unique ways in which their moms send them off on their journeys. The genuine emotion and love shine through, and is our tribute to moms around the world.”

DS Group - Catch

DS SpiceCo., a part of the DS Group, launched a new campaign for ‘Catch Salts & Spices’, titled ‘#MaakaEhsaas’ which is an extension of their core proposition “Kyunki Khana Sirf Khana Nahi Hota”. The campaign was launched with a short emotional film that depicts the sacrifices made by mothers to ensure a better life for their children.

This Mother’s Day, Catch Spices depicts a story portraying a truly unique facet of motherhood, distancing herself from her daughter to protect from her own life’s hardships. The film shows the mother lovingly cooking and secretly delivering food every day to her daughter, Nimmi, at an orphanage. The food becomes their only connection while being separated and allows her to express “#MaaKaEhsaas” to her daughter.

Commenting on the Mother’s Day campaign, Mr. Sandeep Ghosh, Business Head, DS Spiceco Pvt. Ltd. said, “Food in India is multifaceted and Catch has always held that belief strongly. We realised that motherhood too has varied layers, but it always finds a way to express itself, especially through food. We wanted to highlight such stories and celebrate this expression on the occasion of Mother’s Day.”

Great Learning

Great Learning launched the fourth edition of its flagship campaign #HerFreshStart this year. The campaign aims to empower mothers who wish to reignite their careers and return to work. The brand has expanded the campaign globally this year to reach and empower mothers worldwide. 

As part of this initiative, Great Learning will provide scholarships of up to 50 percent to selected mothers in India enrolling in industry-relevant programs such as data science, business analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development management and digital marketing.  As a global expansion of its flagship campaign, Great Learning will offer up to $1000 scholarships for mothers worldwide, in support of its efforts to empower women outside India.

The #HerFreshStart campaign is geared towards extending the necessary skills required to help mothers navigate their way back into the workforce with a sense of self-assurance.
