BoB Net Profit Grows To Rs 7,272 Cr While NPAs Decline To Rs 54,059 Cr

BoB's net interest income (NII) grew 19.7 per cent to Rs 8,511.6 crore as against Rs 7,106.6 crore

Bank Of Baroda (BoB) on Friday announced 9× growth in net profit to Rs 7,272 crore FY22. Net profit for quarter fourth this year is Rs 1,779 crore.

Operating Income for FY22 registered a growth of 5.7 per cent YoY at Rs 44,106 crore. While Return on Equity (RoE) increased sharply by 1016 bps YoY to 11.66 per cent.

BoB's net interest income (NII) grew 19.7 per cent to Rs 8,511.6 crore as against Rs 7,106.6 crore. The bank has reduced NPAs to Rs 54,059 crore in the fourth quarter from Rs 55,997 crore in Q3FY22, while gross NPA ratio improved to 6.61 per cent QoQ.

The Board of Directors have recommended a divident of Rs 1.20 per equity share (60 per cent) for the year ended March 31, 2022.
