Bharti Airtel Launches Its 5G Services In Kolkata
Customers with 5G-enabled devices will receive a free high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network until the rollout is more prevalent

Bharti Airtel declared the launch of “cutting-edge” 5G services in Kolkata on Wednesday.
In addition, the business stated that its 5G services are already available in West Bengal's Haldia, Ranaghat, Contai, Krishnanagar, Puruliya, Bongaon, Bankura, Raniganj and Kolaghat.
Airtel 5G Plus services will be made available to users in stages as the company continues to build its network and finish the rollout, according to a statement from Bharti Airtel.
Customers with 5G-enabled devices will receive a free high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network until the rollout is more prevalent.
According to the statement, the leading telecom operator will expand its network and make its services accessible to cities across the entire state in due course.
Ayan Sarkar, Bharti Airtel's CEO (West Bengal), stated, “I am delighted to announce the roll-out of Airtel 5G Plus in Kolkata, in addition to Haldia, Ranaghat, Contai, Krishnanagar, Puruliya, Bongaon, Bankura, Raniganj, Kolaghat and others.”
Customers can now appreciate the power of an ultrafast 5G network with speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G, he noted.
