Bandhan Bank Hikes FD Rates Up To 7.70% Without Premature Withdrawals

The bank has changed the FD rates and the new rates have been implemented from September 21

Bandhan Bank is giving up to 7.70 per cent interest to customers on bulk fixed deposits. It also applies a condition that the account should not be closed prematurely. If the account is closed prematurely, then the interest will not be available. 

The bank has changed the FD rates and the new rates have been implemented from September 21. After the revision of rates, Bandhan Bank is offering interest ranging from 3.25 per cent to 7.25 per cent on bulk FDs with premature withdrawal facility. If the facility of premature withdrawal is not taken on bulk FD, then the interest rate is getting up to 7.7 per cent.

The new interest rate of bulk FDs is applicable on deposits of Rs 2 crore to 50 crore. The highest interest is being given up to 7.25 per cent with the premature facility. This rate is being given on FDs with maturity from 365 days to 15 months, while interest of 6 per cent is being given on FDs of 91 days to 364 days. The same rate is also available on FDs ranging from 15 months to 5 years.

The depositor can earn interest up to 5.05 per cent on FDs with tenures ranging from 46 days to 90 days and up to 5 per cent on FDs with maximum tenors ranging from 5 years to 10 years. The interest rates on these FDs range from 3.25 per cent to 3.75 per cent in short tenures ranging from 7 days to 45 days. Rates on FDs are the same from Rs 2 crore to Rs 50 crore and above.

The bank offers a rate of 7.70 per cent on FDs ranging from Rs 2 crore to Rs 50 crore and above with tenures ranging from 365 days to less than 15 months. The rate is 6.75 per cent on FDs with tenures ranging from 91 days to 364 days and 15 months to less than 5 years. A rate of 6.75 per cent is offered on FDs of 91 days to 180 days, while the rate on FDs of 46 days to 90 days is 6.30 per cent. The interest rate on FDs with a maximum tenure of 5 years to 10 years is 5.50 per cent. On the same 7 to 45 days bulk FD, interest from 3.25 per cent to 3.75 per cent is being given.
