Airtel has revised its prepaid plan of Rs 799 for its subscribers in the New Year. Airtel has increased the daily data limit to 3.5GB with the recharge of Rs 799 prepaid plan which sums up to a total of 98 GB data for 28 days. Along with the 98GB data, Airtel is offering Unlimited all local, STD calls (non-commercial), outgoing in national roaming, 100 local and STD SMS per day. The prepaid plan comes with a validity of 28 days.

Though Airtel claims to offer unlimited calls but this plan comes with a limit of 250 minutes of calling per day and 1,000 minutes per week.

The Rs 799 prepaid plan is Airtel’s take on Reliance Jio which also offers Rs 799 plan. Jio’s Rs 799 plan offers 3GB data per day which is a total of 84GB data for 28 days. Jio’s offer also has unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls along with unlimited local and STD SMS.

Both Airtel and Jio’s Rs 799 prepaid plan are valid up to 28 days. Airtel is offering more data at same price when compared to Jio but Jio offers unlimited calling without any restriction.
