The fares of CNG-run auto-rickshaws, taxis and buses in the national capital Delhi-NCR can be increased soon. The reason for this is that Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), the company that supplies CNG in Delhi, has decided to increase the prices of CNG on Monday.

According to media reports, IGL has increased the price of CNG for Delhi-NCR by Rs 2 per kg. With this, the price of CNG for Delhi-NCR has increased to Rs 73.61 per kg. Along with this, the state-owned oil companies have increased the aircraft fuel ATF (Air Traffic Fuel), due to which the airfares are also expected to increase. ATF has been increased by 5.3 per cent.

Delhi aircraft fuel prices have been increased by 5.3 per cent on Monday. This is the 10th increase this year. Aircraft fuel prices are at an all-time high due to a sharp rise in global energy prices.
