Adani Transmission Takes Over REC Subsidiary RECPDCL's SPV 'Khavda II-A Transmission

With this handover, RECPDCL has now successfully handed over 51 transmission projects costing around Rs 69,872 crores

REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL), a subsidiary of NBFC Maharatna Company REC, has handed over the project-specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the 'Khavda II-A Transmission' construction to Adani Transmission (ATL). 

The project was won by ATL as the successful bidder of the Inter-State Transmission Project of the Ministry of Power, with RECPDCL acting as the Bid Process Coordinator. The SPV was handed over in the presence of officials from both companies, and the work involves the implementation of a 765 kV double circuit line from Khavda Pooling Station-2 (KPS2) to Lakadia within 24 months.
