Tell us about VDO.AI. What does this product do? 

One aim I have for myself is to be able to see where the puck is going and predict how the world would look a few years down the line. VDO.AI has been a really transformative product. The AI in VDO.AI stands tall, and we have an in-house team supporting and inventing new and innovative AI technology. 

When we started in 2018, publishers had no option but to engage with video content and advertising inside a single turnkey solution. Our innovation allowed publishers to easily engage with video content and advertising in a way that made business sense and was profitable for them. Our product is easily customizable i.e., the content, functionality and type of advertising and media displayed can be customized as per the user’s requirement. 

Currently, we are working closely with over 2000 medium and large publishers globally, helping them drive revenue and engage with users. Eventually, as more users migrate online and technologies like 5G are introduced to the market, consumption of rich media will be accelerated.

What is your vision for your company? 

The vision for the company is fundamentally to help keep information free on the internet and drive revenue for our partners by providing them access to cuttingedge technologies and connecting them with the right brands and advertisers.  

What is your mission? 

The mission is to build for the future. We believe in trying to play with where the technology is going, not where it has been. This has enabled us to bet on the future and build products that we believe should exist many years down the line. We provide a sleek and interactive way of monetizing and increasing session time of your website which won’t hamper your existing UX. Our technology (Native engagement unit) only appears on the website when there’s user specific demand. 

How do you plan to scale up your business? 

It is a very interesting time for us to scale our business. VDO.AI serves the best-in-technology contextual content and ads driving up user engagement by over 34 per cent and website revenue by over 31 per cent. Being in a market that is experiencing a very strong tailwind helps you grow fast. We are lucky to be operating in the ad tech category right now as it is seeing a big boom because of people moving online for all kinds of consumption – entertainment, education, etc. 

With the internet going cookie-less soon, we help monetize content through our innovative solution. As we see this huge influx of new users across the globe onto the digital platforms, advertisers are eager to spend their budget on these platforms. This has helped us grow and reach new heights.

How are you coping with these trying times? 

In these uncertain times, we have made sure that all our partners and employees are safe by providing them with whatever support they need. As a company, we have taken cognizance. We have given people unlimited leaves whenever they encounter any kind of medical situation. We have also procured oxygen concentrators from China and made them available to society. We do our bit to play a role in elevating the pain and suffering that people are facing these days.
