Entrepreneur Jitin Bhatia has been in the news for his flourishing start-up, Explurger — a social media app that he has founded with actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood.The app was launched earlier this month. However, even before the launch, the app had users from more than 40 countries, “which is an endorsement of our product’s global appeal and virality”, says Bhatia. It’s interesting why Jitin thought of the app. All the major social media players worldwide have Indian-origin minds at the helm. He and his friend Sonu Sood saw it as an opportunity to serve the nation and build a social media brand in India that would have the world sit up and take notice. And that’s how Explurger was born.

His journey has been a modest one where he began learning about the battery business in his father's company Computech Systems Pvt Limited while pursuing his undergraduate studies.
