“We’re On A Mission To Make India The Training Capital Of The World” : Surendran J, CEO, Success Gyan

Super Speaker was launched in July 2021 to find Success Gyan’s next best motivational speaker and the jury has made their choice- Warun Mehta from Goa has been picked from the top 10 finalists and it all started with more than 40,000 applicants in round 1, a few months ago.

Q: You have just announced the winner of Success Gyan’s Super Speaker. What led to starting this quest?

We launched Success Gyan, our training platform for personal and professional growth ten years ago. In the last decade, we have come across some amazing training and coaching talent. We believe India has the potential to become the training capital of the world and the quest for India’s next Super Speaker is our contribution towards offering a stage to this talent from every nook and corner of India to showcase their skills. We are offering the winners the opportunity to join Success Gyan’s iconic team of trainers, who are the absolute best in their respective fields.

Q. What made Warun stand out from the other contestants?

Each one of the 10 contestants were brilliant and honestly, it was a very tough choice. Warun is an integrative nutrition and lifestyle coach who has been able to heal himself from multiple life-threatening ailments and is now on a mission to help people elevate their health, fitness and longevity. We could see a strong sense of purpose in his presentation and believe that his art of communication combined with his ‘why’ is a powerful combination. We felt the need to offer our stage to someone like Warun who can go ahead and inspire others to work towards a positive future.

Q. Compared to International trainers, how would you describe the Indian training and coaching industry?

I believe our Indian trainers are completely at par with the world’s best trainers. I completely see us changing our tagline from Inspiring India to Indians Inspiring the World happening soon. You can see this happening already when Rajiv Talreja, one of India’s best business coaches is welcomed and eagerly awaited by audiences across Asia. Hosting season 1 of the Super Speaker reality show made us realize how much untapped potential there is. We plan to continue hosting the Super Speaker reality show to give Indian trainers the platform they deserve.

Q. What is next for Super Speaker?

We just concluded Season 1 on April 9 and are already accepting pre-registrations for Super Speaker Season 2. This time around we’re offering a cash prize of INR 10 lakhs to the winner and scholarships worth 50 lakhs. Q. You have just celebrated a decade of Success Gyan. What is the plan now?

We now have a big mission of taking life-transforming world-class education to every household in the country. We want to impact 100 million lives and make India the training capital of the world.

We are expanding our range of programmes this year by introducing new programmes in the domains of Wealth, Wellness, Fitness, Spirituality and Digital growth in addition to our existing ones focused on success, career, empowering women and inspiring coaches

We will also be delivering personal growth education in a fresh medium with the newly launched Success Gyan podcast. We are hoping to transition audiences from indulging in evening OTT binges to more meaningful learning through our 8PM Learning Hour on ClubHouse.
