PayPal Holdings, Inc., an American company which supports online money transfers worldwide, has started its domestic operations in India. Despite being one of the world’s largest online money transfer service provider, it competes with the Alibaba-backed PayTM (an Indian online payment service provider), TEZ (online money transfer app by Google) and many other apps and online payment service provider already operating in India.
PayPal enters in the Indian market after a steep high in the online transactions. Online Payment Industry is estimated to grow to $500 billion by 2020.
