International Women's Day 2018: Five things to know

8th March is celebrated as International Woman’s day to recall for the women rights. It is a collective day for the global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Here are five things you need to know about International Women’s day:

The idea of International Women’s Day was born by Clara Zetkin, a German socialist along with 100 delegates from 17 countries in March 1911. She suggested that every country should celebrate women on one day every year to push for their demands.
