CAT 2017: Five Foods To Kill Anxiety Before Exams

CAT 2017 is around the corner and the need of the hour is to save yourself from an anxiety disorder. You need an extra boost when there is not enough time left for the exam. Rather than looking out for over-the-counter anti-anxiety medications, which will do more harm than benefit, here are some foods that can calm your nerves:

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is made of milled oat grains and consists of both soluble and insoluble fibres. Oats are a wonderful source of vitamin B, magnesium, and fiber. The carbohydrates found in oatmeal help increase levels of serotonin in the brain which is an antidepressant hormone in the body. To be on a safer side, avoid instant oatmeals with high sugar content. If you are having a sweet tooth, try oatmeal and pear smoothie with honey.
