Micromax’s subsidiary Yureka on Thursday (14 September) announced the launch of its new smartphone in the budget segment- Yureka 2 in India. Priced at Rs 11,999, the smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart during the Big Billion Sale from September 20 onwards.
Yu Yureka 2 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The metal body Yureka 2 features a 5.5-inch FHD display with 2.5D curved glass. It sports a 16-megapixels rear camera with autofocus, flash, night mode, and multi shots. On the front is an 8-megapixels selfie-shooter with beauty mode.
The dual-SIM handset is backed by a 3,930 mAh battery which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. There is also a fingerprint sensor below the rear camera which unlocks the device.
Yureka 2 will face competition with the likes of Redmi Note 4 and Lenovo K8 Plus among others.
