Following the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the newly launched book has tips and moves of the yoga

The International Yoga Day was celebrated today in Delhi with the launch of a Yoga Booklet called “Say Yes To Yog, Say No To Rog” by B&WSSC (Beauty and wellness sector skill council).
The book includes History & Origin of Yoga, Why Yoga, Benefits of Yoga, Relevance of Yoga in Everyday Life and B&WSSC efforts in promoting Yoga.
Geetanjli Aggarwal, CEO, B&WSSC, said “We have been following the footsteps of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi to preach the fitness mantra which is Yoga. Therefore, through our industry and training partners, we have been actively training people and providing certifications under various institutions.”
A panel of discussion was held at the launch in the presence of eminent dignitaries from the beauty and wellness sector like Dr. Blossom Kochhar, Gita Ramesh, Kairali, Arpita Das and Dr. R.N. Nair.
The panel discussed the importance of Yoga and the changing trends in Yoga. One of the panellists, Gita Ramesh, emphasized some of the benefits of yoga like Reducing anxiety, Promotes fitness and flexibility, decreases stress levels, manages diabetes and many more.
It also discussed Yoga going Worldwide and India earning billions followed by USA and China. Dr. Blossom Kochhar said, “Beauty is holistic and beauty can be maintained through wellness.” VLCC spreads across 12 countries promoting Yoga to its employees in every country. The panel discussed the jobs generated through yoga and many career opportunities that exist in the field of Yoga. It discussed how Yoga has helped the World Skill finalists under B&WSSC by highlighting that Yoga helps in achieving mental, physical and emotional peace because all these combine to form a Healthy Person.
