How difficult is it to convince people for a new brand when they are already comfortable with the other beauty products?
We never found this difficult to convince our customer as we believe if you are true and loyal to your products, your audience too will start trusting you. So, our prime idea is always the ingredients, we induce kitchen-based ingredients that are result-oriented and gives multiple benefits to the public.

In the current scenario, the customers too are matured in terms of how they choose the beauty products. The quality of the product and the ingredients used is more important to the customer than brand affinity. So, if you have a good quality product and project it to the audience correctly you can create a space for your brand.

How much investment have you made till date?
We have invested approx. 6 – 7 Cr till date and planning to expand our horizon in terms of products. We have recently entered into the makeup industry with 2 unique products, one is Skin Corrector DD Cream and another is a Beetroot Lip & Cheek Tint. Both the products are well accepted by our audience and we are getting a pretty good response because all our products are unique in their category. 

How do you explain bespoke in a beauty brand? Give us some examples of the same.
I think the beauty sector is a prime example where bespoke is especially important in delivering the brand message in an extremely crowded space.  The ingredients, the products, the benefits, and the result are the ones that define bespoke in the industry. 

What is the source of Ayurveda ingredients? How easy/ difficult is it to purchase the same? Who all are your suppliers?
We have suppliers from all over India from where we source our ingredients. Most of our products are based on kitchen based ingredients and our country is specialized in that and is the home of Ayurveda.

Who do you consider competition?
With Aegte, we aim to introduce something which no one else has introduced. We believe if you deliver quality and result oriented product your customer will come back to you. 

Currently, the beauty sector has evolved so rapidly in the last two years that we cannot specifically focus on one or two major competitors. So, we do keep an eye on the movements of major players and make sure to keep the momentum a step ahead to win customer trust and satisfaction.
