Umesh Shukla’s ‘102 Not Out’ Earns Rs 40.71 Cr In 12 Days

Keeping aside all the critics and other reviews, friend Shatrughan Sinha appreciated their performances and tweeted, “The great Amitabh Bachan and most desirable Rishi Kapoor ne kar diya kamaal ‘102 Not Out’ is a well done and spotless hit film being seen and enjoyed by every section of society. '102 Not Out' also stars Jimit Trivedi, Paresh Rawal and Mukesh Hariawala in other lead roles.
Based on a Gujarati play, written by Saumya Joshi, the film’s story is about a 102-year-old father played by Amitabh Bachchan who decides to send Rishi Kapoor, his 75 year old child to an old- age home for a thinking that his son’s morose and melancholic outlook towards the life might hinder his way of trying to break the world record of becoming the longest living human being.
The movie had a good lifetime collection of Rs 40.71 crore by the end of 11 days. It worked well overseas also.
