Logitech, a global provider of personal computer accessories, expanded its existing 'Ultimate Ears' portfolio with the launch of five new high-end products on Wednesday, 15 May 2013. The collection comprises portable Bluetooth speakers UE Mobile Boombox and UE Boombox, as well as over the ears headphones UE6000, UE 9000 and professional Quad armature wired earphone UE900.
"Combining Logitech's expertise in seamless connectivity with UE's heritage of providing great sound in the tiniest of packages, the new line up blends in well and functions to deliver the right sound for any situation," says Subrotah Biswas, Director, Logitech India and South West Asia.
Here are the details of the comprehensive range of 'Ultimate ears' devices launched on 15 May' 2013.
UE Mobile Boombox
UE Mobile Boombox is an ultraportable speaker that connects with the smartphone or tablet easily with Bluetooth technology. The Mobile Boombox can pair up to 8 Bluetooth devices and music switching can be done between 2 devices simultaneously. With metal finishes, vibrant accents and a grip-action rubber casing, it doubles as a speakerphone with a built-in mic. The device is priced at Rs. 8,995.
Priced at Rs.21,995, the Logitech UE Boombox is an on-the-go speaker that connects to smartphones or tablets through Bluetooth. The sound of the device is delivered by eight custom-tuned drivers along with the capacity to pair up to 8 Bluetooth enabled devices and play music from 3 devices simultaneously. An integrated, sculptured aluminum handle works well with its mobility aspect and possess a six-hour rechargeable battery.
The UE6000 is a progressive, noise-cancelling, around-ear headphone, with an onboard amp for an immersive and powerful listening experience. They connect through Bluetooth to the devices, fold up and come with a splitter to make sharing simple. Active noise cancelling technology filters out ambient noise and features plush memory foam cushions. Priced at Rs 17,995, it comes with an around-the-ear design.
The wireless UE 9000 includes an optional cable that can be used to connect to the Bluetooth devices. The high-resolution drivers of the device delivers undiluted audio preferable for spacious soundstage. It also feature controls that respond to the touch of the fingertips. It costs Rs 31,995.
The UE 900 features a unique quad-armature design-two for the low end, one for the mid-range, and one for high frequencies. It provides a wide, front-row-centre soundstage, depth and clarity along with right amount of colour on the bass and treble. Priced at Rs 34,995, the device is patented with dual-bore technology and possesses up to 26 dbs of noise isolation, and come with eight pairs of specially designed ear cushions.
All the devices launched today will be available across the stores from the first quarter of June' 2013.
