Success doesn’t come easy, especially when you have a business to run. Daily struggles to keep the business up and running lead to stress, anxiety, physical and mental exhaustion. Along with your physical fitness you definitely need to keep your mental health in check. Believe me, this is a smart executive decision and what better way to keep stress and anxiety at bay than using aromatherapy at your work place and make your office smell better too at the same time.

Aromatherapy has been proven to be excellent for stress relief as well as increasing productivity and efficiency levels. Inhaling essential oils can not only alter your mood, but also stimulate creativity and help you with increased concentration.

If your workspace is an air-conditioned or stuffy building, using essential oils in a diffuser or using a spritzer can really clear the air. For a quick energy boost use Geranium, lavender, lemon, peppermint or rosemary and if you are too worn down because of your work, try chamomile, lavender, orange or sandalwood oil to release all your stress.

Try these oils to make your work life peaceful & calm:

Neroli oil: this stress buster oil can be easily used in a diffuser or just put a drop or two of Neroli oil on a tissue and place it near your work station. Soon you will feel relieved from all the mental exhaustion and agitation leaving your body.

Basil Oil: In a bowl of water and put less than a drop of the oil. Alternatively, you can also put one tenth of a drop behind your ear to fight the effects of negativity, burn-out & intellectual fatigue. A regular use of this oil will help you to clear your thoughts and increase your enthusiasm to keep you going at work.

Rosemary Oil: When put in a diffuser, rose oil can treat loss of memory, lethargy and can boost your immune system.

Lemon Oil: One step solution to combat seasonal colds and flu. This one thoroughly cleans the environment.

Aromatherapy not only provides you relief from stress, but can also help you to grow in business. These oils help in improving your job performance and their anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties makes the environment clean and a healthy one to breath in.

Rosemary: This is the perfect Monday morning pick me up. In addition to improving memory retention, rosemary has stimulating properties that fight physical exhaustion, headaches and mental fatigue.

Basil: An energy booster, this scent invigorates the mind, promotes concentration and should be used when brainstorming.

Geranium: When you need to sign an important document take a whiff of geranium as it helps in circulation and keeps your mind active.
Cinnamon: This oil helps to fight mental fatigue and improve concentration and focus.

Incorporating Aromtherapy in your work can bring significant changes and positivity in the environment and help you succeed at your workplace.
