With a firm footing in Europe and the Nordic region, Otivr, a Swedish technology start-up, is fast helping transform the Indian IT outsourcing business. Today over 10,000 professionals are offering strategic IT services through Otivr in Europe and other international destinations say, Ricky Dhillon, CEO, Otivr. In fact, the company has boosted its supplier base to over 150 high-quality Indian SMEs, offering project solutions and dedicated resources starting from front-end developers, back-end developers, UX/UI designers, 3D artists, AI experts, tech developers with expertise in Java, Python, Microsoft technologies, Salesforce and many more. Dhillon says Otivr’s mission is to bring Swedish companies affordable and high-quality IT development skills through a digital and safe procedure.

According to Dhillon, the Indian SMEs now have the visibility in international markets among which Nordics has been noted as an incumbent region for business growth. With the rapid increase in innovation and business, demand for manpower has also increased leading to manpower crunch in Nordics and Europe, he says. This has led to huge outsourcing opportunities to be tapped.

A report titled ‘Sweden a key driver of Nordic ICT growth’ published by industry body NASSCOM notes that Sweden is identified as the country with 40 per cent (USD 23 billion in 2016-17) of the total share of the Nordic IT spend. The opportunities to tap with global technology giants being from Sweden is immense for the Indian businesses looking at expansion in the Nordics. India has huge potential to offer high-quality resources. Otivr has strong local representation in countries like Sweden and Denmark with its front-end sales offices.

Says Dhillon, CEO, Otivr: “The opportunities in specialized needs in the IT space with emerging technologies is tremendous, especially in the Nordic. We have added strategic services such as gaming and security, expanding our supplier base to over 10,000 skilled, professionals working with SMEs in the Nordics.”

According to Dhillon the Indian SMEs with a forward vision are innovating in growing fields such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT and Business Intelligence. We are closing the gap by opening up business opportunities in front of them to capture, providing access to the lucrative B2B sector with high-value clients in international markets. He adds, “Co-ordinating with our clients and partners at the ‘front-end’, we are expanding the range of our services, integrating with more suppliers to cater to the rising demand for niche services in the Nordic region. Otivr has an efficient business development tool to help the users with client outreach for specific projects.”

The company provides support throughout the procurement and delivery process, enabling a smooth IT transition to enterprises. On the supplier side, the company is expanding their service segments by including highly innovative service providers within AI, machine learning and Big data to its offerings among others. Otivr today offers dedicated resources - both offshore and onshore, project solutions for core services like Web development, Mobile application development, E-commerce, Business Intelligence, ERP system, UI/UX design, Database building and maintenance and others along with services related to highly innovative areas like Big Data, Cloud Computing, IoT and AI. Otivr will also include an offering of dedicated on-shore resources to its solution offerings this autumn.
