Snapdeal Partners With Jolla For Sailfish OS

Jolla, the mobile company from Finland, announced that India’s largest online marketplace Snapdeal has joined the ‘Sailfish OS Alliance’. Together, Jolla and Snapdeal aim to promote the Sailfish OS based mobile ecosystem for the Indian market.
‘Sailfish OS Alliance’ is a partner network designed to create opportunities for regional device vendors and premium internet service providers. The ‘Sailfish OS alliance’ also secures higher and more sustainable average revenue per user (ARPU) throughout the whole lifetime of the product or service. The four film web campaign has been conceptualized and executed by Flipkart’s Digital engagement partner Dentsu Webchutney Innovation Labsand produced by Native Films.

Tele2 & HCL Technologies Form Strategic Alliance
HCL Technologies and Tele 2, one of the leading European telecommunications operators today announced a strategic partnership to address the substantial market opportunities for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions in Europe. 
By focusing on the Healthcare segment in Europe, the two companies will jointly address one of the fastest growing areas of the M2M/IoT market. For example, in healthcare the two companies are planning to develop remote patient monitoring systems that are enabled through smartphones. HCL and Tele2 will work together in an effort to reduce transactional and operational costs for their partners, whilst tapping into the lucrative revenue opportunities that exist within the European IoT/M2M market.

Obi Mobiles Partners With Digiworld
Obi Mobiles, the smartphone company co-founded by John Sculley, former CEO of Apple, Inc. and Pepsi-Cola, Inc., today announced a strategic distribution partnership with Digiworld to bring Obi Mobiles smartphones to customers in Vietnam.
Digiworld, a highly ranked wholesale mobility distributor in Vietnam has been appointed the exclusive authority to offer and support Obi’s range of smartphones through its strong distribution network across top cities in Vietnam.
“Many people today in Vietnam are eager to move up to smartphones that unleash the full power of the Internet and deliver access to a wide range of multimedia entertainment choices,” Sculley said. “With Obi’s rich line of smartphones and Digiworld’s exceptional distribution capability, we’ll be able to give Vietnamese citizens more choices for their first smartphone all the way up to models that wow.”

Oxigen Wallet Powered Mobile Generation At Mecca 2015
Oxigen Wallet, a prepaid digital wallet that enables customers to store their money virtually, powered the mobile generation at the annual cultural festival of Hindu College- Mecca 2015 held between 25th-27th February 2015. Oxigen was Title sponsor for annual fest of Hindu college. All students attending the fest signed up with Oxigen Wallet. Food bills at the food court were paid using the app thanks to the enabling of merchant payments. Visiting students were also able avail cash back offer of 25 per cent with maximum cash back of Rs.125 per transaction at the food court.

Mecca is the annual cultural festival of Hindu College, University of Delhi. Started by a group of dynamic Hinduites in 1974, this was the 39th edition of the festival. Over the years, it has gone on to become one of the most sought after festivals of Delhi. Hindu College known for its cultural heritage and rich history has provided a performing stage to a lot of artists ranging from Asha Bhosle , Kishore Kumar, Papon and the East India Company to Mohit Chauhan and Daler Mehndi .
F-Secure Contributes To Open Source Community
F-Secure has contributed the source code of its ramped-down location service, F-Secure Lokki, to the open source community. The donation makes it possible for anyone and everyone to freely use the software in their possible new location services and apps. It also creates an opportunity for forming an open source community around location sharing with security and privacy in mind.
