The Seven Seas Navigator one of the luxury ships of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, docked in Mumbai Port for the first time early this week.

The Navigator, which received a complete bow-to-stern makeover in 2016, is a ship which has few equals, as all her 245 suites boast ocean views - most with private, furnished balconies - and her remarkable staff to guest ratio of 1:1.4 ensures every guest receives attentive, personalised service, at any time of the day or night.

The ship underwent an extensive bow-to-stern refurbishment as part of Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ $125 million fleet-wide enhancement programme and emerged a brand-new ship, with all suite categories, all lounges, the library, casino, boutiques, reception area, and signature restaurants Compass Rose and La Veranda having been completely renovated.

The Navigator is a part of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) a leading global cruise operator, with three award-winning brands: Norwegian Cruise Line – innovator in premium-contemporary cruising, delivering enhanced freedom and flexibility; Oceania Cruises, leader in upper-premium cruising, renowned for The Finest Cuisine at Sea™; and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, The Most Inclusive Luxury Experience™ in the world.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers an unrivaled experience to luxury travelers. The cruise line’s modern four-ship fleet visits more than 450 iconic and immersive destinations around the world, and will add Seven Seas Splendor in 2020 and then grow by a sixth ship in 2023. All luxuries are included in Regent voyages, such as all-suite accommodations, the largest collection of unlimited shore excursions, unlimited internet access, highly personalized service, exquisite cuisine, fine wines and spirits, gratuities, ground transfers and one-night, pre-cruise hotel packages for guests staying in Concierge-level suites and higher. In 2018 the cruise line concluded a $125 million refurbishment program of Seven Seas Mariner, Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Navigator to elevate the fleet’s elegance to the benchmark set by Seven Seas Explorer.

The Cruise Liner also announced three guest experience enhancements:

•    The cruise line is nearly doubling internet bandwidth size across its fleet by January 2020. Significantly increasing bandwidth compared to 2018 will make free internet surfing more enjoyable for Regent guests as the internet will be faster and even more reliable on all devices. Guests will begin to benefit from bandwidth expansion starting April 2019. Signing on to Wi-Fi will be smoother through a log-in webpage that appears when guests connect to the ship’s network, and guests will have a more streamlined log-in process enabling unlimited complimentary and effortless web surfing.”

•     Free unlimited valet laundry service for guests sailing in Master and Grand Suites. All guests who sail in a Master Suite or Grand Suite on the cruise line’s ships will enjoy the added benefit of free unlimited valet laundry service starting in April 2019.

•     A new Digital Guest Survey will help Regent track guest experiences and feedback in real-time. The digital survey replaces end-of-cruise paper guest satisfaction questionnaires. Guests may easily provide feedback through this web-based questionnaire during the voyage and the feedback is automatically sent to the ship’s officers and company leaders in Miami. This new system will be deployed fleetwide by October 2019.
