Scottish Universities bring Great Scotland Campaign To Delhi
The Scottish Universities under the ‘GREAT Scotland’ Campaign hosted an interactive networking event in New Delhi on Monday (30 November) at the Indian Habitat Center, aimed at exposing aspirants to educational opportunities in Scotland through counseling and advice.

The Scottish Universities under the ‘GREAT Scotland’ Campaign hosted an interactive networking event in New Delhi on Monday (30 November) at the Indian Habitat Center, aimed at exposing aspirants to educational opportunities in Scotland through counselling and advice.
The event saw participation from over nine Scotland institutions and several prospective and aspiring students from Delhi. During the event, participants got a chance to talk to the representatives and understand various nuances of studying in Scotland such as course choices, visas, applications, scholarships, etc. Prestigious alumni from Scottish Universities were also present to reiterate the enriching experience that students can avail at these Universities.
The aim was to provide information on undergraduate, postgraduate and research programme in Scotland, and also offer valuable information on student life and culture. The insightful seminars threw light on various important subjects. The seminar on Animal Welfare elaborated on the background of animal health and welfare theory and practice. While the session Digital Visual Arts highlighted the importance of images, film, graphics and sound in the current scenario.
Scotland and India share a well-established, broad-ranging and expanding partnership on education. Towards that, Scottish Universities have announced scholarships worth over £400,000, with over 200 scholarships on offer in 2015-16. The Universities have a total of 4,500 under-graduate, post-graduate, research-led courses in 150 different subject areas such as Engineering, Law, Business, Art & Design, Biosciences and IT. Every year more than 46,000 international students from more than 180 countries discover the uniquely warm welcome of Scotland’s Universities.
