Royal Enfield Reports 24% Drop In Domestic Sales, Exports Grow

Exports grew 45% with the company exporting 6,824 units in November compared to 4,698 units a year ago.

Royal Enfield posted a total sale of 51,654 motorcycles in the month of October, against the sales of 63,782 motorcycles for the same month last year, a drop of 19 percent. While in the domestic market the retro classic motorcycle maker saw a drop of 24 percent with 44,830 units in November 21 compared to 59,084 units during the same period last year. Exports grew 45% with the company exporting 6,824 units in November compared to 4,698 units a year ago. 

This year the Motorcycle maker launched two new models – The Meteor 350 and The New Classic 350. EICMA 2021 also saw the SG650 Concept motorcycle from the company along with the 120th Year Anniversary Edition of the brand's flagship 650 Twin motorcycles, the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650.

Royal Enfield has also started its local assembly and CKD unit in Thailand with an aim to provide a significant boost to the company’s business in Southeast Asia
