As Founder and Executive Director of the Indian School of Design and Innovation, Radha Kapoor is regarded as an avid design thinker, creative entrepreneur and innovation evangelist. Kapoor aims to increase economic activity, by crafting an urban network and platform which exemplifies innovation, entrepreneurship and collaboration. With a degree in Communication Design from Parsons New School of Design, New York, and a diploma in Fine Arts from the University of Arts, London, Kapoor's passion for design made her launch DO IT Creations, which serves as the holding umbrella company to catalyse and create DICE (Design, Innovation and Creativity led by Entrepreneurship), while still placing design thinking and education at the centre of discussion.  Driven by her creative vehemence, Kapoor has tied up with labels such as French luxury brand Longchamp, and holds franchisee rights for Spanish dry cleaning chain Pressto along with investing in Pro Kabaddi team - Dabang Delhi and Hockey India League.

Her recent venture, R-Directed is a creative platform with curated global content on DICE. Never having had to compromise on her passion, Kapoor has an inclination towards aesthetics and an ability to appreciate design aspects in the most unconventional areas.

She established her first venture, Brandcanvas at a young age, utilizing all her knowledge gained at Parsons. Creativity, sustainability and innovation still remain at the core of the pedagogy of ISDI, and its philosophy as well. "There has been a paradigm shift in our generation, I would like to thank my father who recognized my passion encouraged me towards design and creativity and let me follow it", says Kapoor. ISDI remains as one of her core passions, and it also has a tie-up with her alma mater, Parsons to impart design pedagogy. Through her latest venture, Awfis, she has tried to redefine the ideal co-working space with latest technology solutions embedded for 'just-in-time' and flexible space utilization.

Kapoor continues to eye potential investments, in order to build a profitable portfolio. To further drive innovation and design-led technology, Kapoor has set up the ISDI ACE (accelerating creative entrepreneurs) in a partnership with Microsoft Ventures to propagate India's start-up ecosystem.
