Indian two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp has reportedly moved its account to Starcom, the media network under Publicis Groupe. Highly placed industry sources have confirmed this development. The business is reportedly pegged at Rs 600 crore.
Hero MotoCorp’s account was earlier handled by Maxus, which was later merged with MEC to form Wavemaker.
Back in July 2019, exchange4media had reported Hero MotoCorp’s multi-agency pitch. It is understood that agencies such as Dentsu Aegis Network and IPG Mediabrands were also in the fray.
Delhi-based Hero MotoCorp is the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer. In India, the company enjoys a market share of 46 per cent in the two-wheeler category.
