PubG Announces Complete Ban; Users Will Not Be Able To Play The Game Anymore

After the latest devolvement, Indian users will not be able to use PubG Mobile and PubG Mobile Light in any case from today i.e. from 30th October.

After the latest devolvement, Indian users will not be able to use PubG Mobile and PubG Mobile Light in any case from today i.e. from 30th October.

PubG Mobile announced on its Facebook page that Indian users will no longer be able to play PubG. To recall, PubG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite were banned by the government last month. The ban had stopped new downloads of the game but the users who already had the game installed on their smartphone were able to play the game.

After the latest devolvement, Indian users will not be able to use PubG Mobile and PubG Mobile Light in any case from today i.e. from 30th October.

Announcing the complete ban, PubG said, “protecting user data has always been a top priority and we have always complied with applicable data protection laws and regulations in India. All users’ gameplay information is processed in a transparent manner as disclosed in our privacy policy.”

“We deeply regret this outcome, and sincerely thank you for your support and love for PUBG Mobile in India,” it added.

Recently, Tencent's market capitalization has decreased by Rs 2.48 lakh crore, the second-biggest decline of this year. PUBG was launched in India in the year 2018 and by the time it was banned in 2020, it had the highest number of users in India. India accounted for 24 percent of the world's total users.

Interestingly, a new alternative game of PUBG Mobile, Fearless And United-Guards (FAU-G) is expected to launch in November. The game has been created by Indian developer nCore Games. The teaser was released a few days back indicates that it will be based on a clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Galvan Valley.
