Ex-Grofers Piyush Goyal joined Rapido, an online bike taxi aggregator, B2B operations to strengthen its leadership team in North and Central India. In his new role, he will be responsible for B2B operations majorly for north and central India.
Goyal, who previously worked for Grofers, an Indian online grocery service provider and lalaji24X7 which caters in the same segment, comes with a strong Operations & Growth background and a diversified portfolio in the startup community.
In his new role, the seasoned professional will be responsible for B2B business and driving the business growth of the same segment for Rapido. He brings with him more than five years of varied experience across sectors in operations and growth.
One of the best-known people for operations in the startup community, Goyal was used to be the core team member of Grofers and lalaji24X7.
He is known as one of the professionals for initiating many campaigns in the startup community. For instance, In 2016, he has organised a blood donation camp where more than 20,000 blue-collar workers have participated.
