In the first major top-deck reshuffle in about a year at India’s biggest e-commerce company Flipkart, co-founder and chief operating officer Binny Bansal has come to the fore, replacing Sachin Bansal as the CEO. The move is viewed by some as a step towards a stock market listing. While Binny has taken over all operational responsibilities, Sachin as the new executive chairman will provide strategic direction for Flipkart, mentor the senior leadership of the company and look for new investment opportunities.

Rorsted, 53, will take charge on 1 October. His appointment brings to an end a search launched last February, after a difficult 18 months for Adidas during which it was forced to issue two profits warnings and lost ground to US rival, Nike, in the battle for dominance of the global sportswear market.

Ambani’s net worth increased $620 million as of 15 January 2016, the most in the world in 2016, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
