Once Upon A Time In Hollywood Crosses Box Office Milestone Globally

The movie features an ensemble cast and multiple storylines and is a glowing tribute to the memories of a bygone era.

Leonardo Dicaprio and Brad Pitt starrer ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ grosses over $200 Million globally and is set to be ranked as Quentin Tarantino’s (Director) second-biggest film domestically after ‘Django Unchained.’ 

Further, Once Upon a Time is one of the most successful films of all time in Hollywood. 

The movie is set in Los Angeles, 1969. The story starts when the final chapter of Hollywood’s golden age draws to a close, fading TV Star Rick Dalton (Leonardo Dicaprio) and his long-time stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way to an industry they hardly recognize anymore. Margot Robbie plays the role of Sharon Tate.

The movie had the strongest showing in the United Kingdom with a five-day launch of $8.9 million, followed by France with $6.9 million, Germany with $5.6 million, and Australia with $4.4 million. In Russia, where it was released two weeks ago, the film has made $13 million. 

Analysts predict that Hollywood could ultimately wind up at around the $400 million mark, with the film still set to open in markets such as Italy, Japan, and South Korea.
