Nita Ambani, Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, has been appointed to the board of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Named an Honorary Trustee, the well-known philanthropist is the first Indian trustee of the museum.

Led by Nita Ambani, Reliance Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Reliance Industries Limited. It aims to address the nation’s development challenges through innovative and sustainable solutions in areas of Rural Transformation, Health, Education, Sports for Development, Disaster Response, Urban Renewal, and Arts, Culture and Heritage.
