Building on the partnership with Microsoft, Myntra has decided to capitalize on Microsoft’s cloud computing facility, Microsoft Azure to improve upon the online shopping experience for the buyers. The cloud service platform is reported to provide innovative, personalized services and faster. A 50 per cent rise in orders has been recorded since capitalizing on the Azure’s services in the orders in the latest edition of its yearly end of season sale, the company said in a statement.
Two of the Walmart-owned companies in India, Flipkart and Myntra were able to together clock 1.7 billion app sessions compared to under a billion by the rival Amazon, the company statement said.
Myntra, as per the statement, has reportedly worked with Microsoft in transferring its platform from supply chain management to inventory and site capabilities. With a portfolio 7,00,000 styles from more than 3,000 international and domestic brands available on the Myntra store, the abilities enhanced by working with Microsoft would support one of the leading platforms for fashion brands in furthering into the competitive e-commerce market in India, it said.
