After the Mahapanchayat in Muzaffarnagar, the farmer’s union has decided to conduct more protests in different parts of Uttar Pradesh and other states.

Meanwhile, the opposition parties extended their full support for the Mahapanchayat which was in Muzaffarnagar on 5th September 2021. The opposition parties have called on the government to end the farm bill and have also warned against harming them.

Akhilesh Yadav, Samajwadi Party leader took to Twitter and wrote (roughly translated to English), "Yesterday, unprecedented solidarity of farmers in western UP on one side and teachers and the general public in eastern UP on the other has shown that the oppressive, divisive, arrogant power of BJP will never return. This is a wave of public opinion against the havoc of BJP. BJP is over!"

Chairman of All India Congress Committee (AICC), Digvijay Singh said told a leading media house that the Mahapanchayat which was conducted in Muzaffarnagar has announced the Bharat Bandh on 27th September 2021. All the non- BJP parties should come along to make it successful.

Meanwhile, the opposition parties in UP have warned the centre and BJP state government against attempts to break the farmer's agitation.

Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President Kumari Selja told a leading media house that the BJP government of Haryana has not only refused to conduct a peaceful protest in Karnal but also said if something of this kind had been planned then you would be in trouble.
